Shipping policy

Every Aprili Designs piece is handmade in my studio in Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains, and sent with care.

Processing time
Pieces that are in stock are packed and posted within 1–2 business days. If your piece is made to order or on backorder, please allow about a week for it to be made before it is posted.

How I ship
All orders are sent with Australia Post and tracked, and delivered in accordance with Australia Post’s delivery standards and timeframes. Postage options and costs are shown at checkout before you pay. I currently ship within Australia only.

Orders of $300 and over ship free, insured and with signature on delivery. Insured shipping with signature on delivery is also available at checkout for orders under $300.

Delivery times
Within Australia, delivery is generally 5–14 business days, depending on where you live. Express Post is faster where available.

Delivery times shown at checkout (for example, Express 1–2 business days) are Australia Post’s estimates and start from the day your order is dispatched, not the day it is placed. Once your parcel is with Australia Post, delivery times are outside of my control. I can’t offer refunds of shipping costs, including Express, for delays caused by Australia Post, but I’m always happy to help follow up with them on your behalf.

Tracking
You’ll receive your tracking details by email once your order has been posted.

Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel is lost in the post or your jewellery arrives damaged, please email me with your order number, and photos of the damaged piece and its packaging, within 2 days of it arriving (or as soon as tracking shows a parcel is overdue). Damaged pieces must be returned to me before a repair, replacement or refund can be arranged. I’ll either email you a prepaid Australia Post return label, or you can send it back using tracked Australia Post, keep your receipt, and I’ll reimburse your return postage. Once I’ve received and checked the piece, and lodged a claim with Australia Post where needed, I’ll arrange a repair, replacement or refund. Please double-check your delivery address at checkout, as I can’t be responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

Local delivery and pickup in the Blue Mountains
If you live within about 20 km of my Katoomba studio (roughly Wentworth Falls to Mount Victoria), you can choose free local delivery at checkout on orders of $200 or more. I hand-deliver on Fridays and will email you to confirm a time.

Prefer to pick up? Choose Pickup at checkout and collect your piece in person on a Friday at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Katoomba. I’ll email you to arrange a time.
